She will then review expectations in terms of treatment options, cost, and anticipated length of treatment time. If treatment is recommended, further records (X-rays, original impressions, scans and photos) will be needed to complete your diagnosis.

How long does Orthodontic treatment usually take?
No, a referral from your family dentist is not required to book an appointment with Dr. Jessica Tan. However, we are proud to say that a number of local dentists regularly refer their patients to Dr. Tan.

A Certified Orthodontist is a specialist in the dental industry. After graduating as a Dentist, a Certified Orthodontist studies for an additional two to three years following dental school and has extensive, specialized training and; experience in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of orthodontic problems. Only two out of ten Dentists take the additional education and training to become recognized as Orthodontists.
